2-and-a-Half-Star Wars Out Of Five - Aqua Teens Hunger ForceThe Teens Get Their Lawn Mowed. Plus Wookies.
In the episode "2-and-a-Half-Star Wars Out Of Five," the Aqua Teens are harassed by a man wanting to mow their lawn. As per the norm, Carl dies and hilarity ensues.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force is one of those shows that seem to be able to fit a large amount of content in a small amount of time. This is due mainly to lack of detail or adherence to logic when it comes to their scripts. "2-and-a-Half-Star Wars Out Of Five" is no different. Recap of "2-and-a-Half-Star Wars Out Of Five" on Adult SwimTry to keep up. Frylock is angered to find a pink man-like creature with seven nipples, protruding tusk-like teeth and the lack of shame to wear anything but a belt mowing his front lawn (meanwhile, and throughout the episode, Star Wars-esque music continues to play). After arguing over the amount (or lack there of) of money that Frylock will pay for the service (as well the creature assuming he can stay at the house), Frylock convinces him to leave by pulling a gun, despite the creature's attempt to use the Jedi Mind Trick. After a nice Lucas-y wipe across the screen, the creature, introducing himself as Drew, offers to mow the carpet, tries once again to get a place to stay, and announces that he wishes to blow up the moon (amidst continuing Mind Trick failure). After being sent away yet again, Drew finds his way into Carl's lawn. Carl, being the gentle soul that he is, chucks batteries at Drew. When Drew asks for Carl's help blowing up the moon, Carl instead decides to showcase his own "lunar surface." Drew quickly grows large amounts of fur and dives through Carl's window, sending a large amount of blood back out into the lawn. Back at the Aqua Teens', Meatwad reports the incident, and Master Shake claims seeing Carl's "moon" caused the transformation, and that Drew is a werewolf, then shows off his standee of Kate Beckinsale from the movie Underworld. The following day, after unsuccessful attempts to both ignore Drew and call Kate Beckinsale, the trio is visited by Drew again, and Frylock finally agrees to blow up the moon if Drew will leave, and proceeds to blind-fold the many-nipples creature in the back yard. Shake, dressed like Kate Beckensale in Underworld, tries to slow-motion dive over Drew and shoot him. He fails, and Frylock unloads three shots in Drew's chest. Drew heads to a pawn shop where he tries to sell the bullets (discovering they're BBs and not silver), and the trio catch up to him. Frylock exposes Drew as Drewbacca the wookie, Shake buys two copies of Drew's Star Trek tribute band's cassette, and Drew quickly teleports away before Frylock can kill him with his "lightwaver" which he claims is "very different from what you're about to say" as Shake starts to ask where he got a lightsaber. Then the moon blows up, caused by the Mooninites putting what they thought was a bullfrog (in actuality Yoda) in their microwave. The Last Word on Aqua Teen Hunger Force's "2-and-a-Half-Star Wars Out Of Five" Aqua Teen Hunger Force refuses to make sense (which should be obvious). The show is unforgiving, completely random, and absolutely funny. Considering the show lasts for about fifteen minutes and takes twice that long to explain, fans can expect that so long as no one minds their senseless logic and humor, show creators and writers Matt Maiellaro and Dave Willis will continue to roll out the laughs.
