About Chelsea
Born in suburban New Jersey, she is the youngest of six children and was raised by her Jewish father and Mormon mother - something she often jokes about on her late-night show. Chelsea has performed to sold-out audiences at venues and festivals everywhere, including Montreal’s Just For Laughs Comedy Festival and the HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. She starred on the Oxygen Network’s Girls Behaving Badly and has made several appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, The Today Show, and also guest-hosted on The View. The 34 year old has also co-starred in several independent films, and has made guest-star appearances on several popular shows, including The Bernie Mac Show and My Wife & Kids. In 2007, Chelsea performed on Comedy Central’s Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour across the U.S.

In 2007, Chelsea Handler began her successful journey into late-night television with her own comedy series on E! titled, Chelsea Lately. The show was an immediate hit, averaging more than a half-million viewers since its premiere. The show’s clips on YouTube have garnered more than a million views. And who says you need A-list celebrity guests to gain this much viewership? On the contrary, guests on the show are often not A-list celebrities, which only adds even more funny fuel and material for the comedienne to use.
